Broader Standards: Essays on the cultural shifts as women take on broader leadership roles.

By Jennifer Loustau

The essays are numbered from 12 to 68, the years of my female maturity. They are in chronological order, linking my life experience to what was happening that year (given in parentheses). Since I was born in 1952, they begin in the year 1964. Some are personal; some are universal. All of the essays address the topics that concern women and are often omitted in discussions between men. As women take on more leadership roles everywhere, from the household to the Presidency, our issues must be aired. And heard.
